The Lord Alfred was established in the 19th century and was named the Prince Alfred in 1868 following the announcement of the Prince sailing to Australian soils sent by his Mother, Queen Victoria. Now in its 150th year and having played part in many Brisbanite’s youth, most recently as Hotel LA, The Lord Alfred has been carefully restored with much consideration to its historic relevance
